we started because

SMART
Care was founded by a group of families in Brisbane who are planning for the welfare, future care and independent living of their sons and daughters with disabilities.

A number of SMARTCare members are aging and have become involved in the association to plan for the future welfare and security of their child.

SMART
Care believes that people with disabilities require full access to the social, economic and physical infrastructure with supports our society so that they can participate fully and equally in their communities.

we will achieve

The development of a framework of community and family support to ensure the ongoing welfare and quality of life of those people who are supported by SMARTCare.
